At all times I will offer a professional service. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to their code of ethics. (A copy is available on request)
I will offer you a safe and non-judgemental environment where your issues can be aired and explored.
I will offer you a therapeutic relationship where there is respect, understanding and honesty. I will encourage you to be yourself and work with you through difficult times past and/or present.
I will not tell you what to do or provide you with practical solutions. I work with you, alongside you, to help you to work through your concerns, your fears and your issues, helping you to find acceptance within your life and the best way forward for you.
A belief I hold, as an individual and as a trained counsellor is that, “although it is not possible for us to change what has happened in the past, it may be possible to change how it effects us in the future.”
